Again in Ephesians 6: 12 tells us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but powers, rulers of the darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places. For God, who said, "Let the light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
Apostle John learned that the key to overcoming Satan, is "by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony" and complete dedication of oneself to Christ. Revelation 12:11

In 1 John chapter 5 verse 4 we are told that "for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Verse 5 tells us, that to overcome the world, we have to believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Is that so difficult? Really?

Overcoming the devil
In Chapter 12 verse 11 of Revelation , "The overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death."
Satan is the adversary, and the devil is the slanderer. He is also described as the dragon, the serpent, a roaring lion, a liar, murderer, and wiley-crafty accuser of brethren. He hates God and Gods people. In Luke 22:31 Jesus tells Peter, Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat.

"Pray On" the Armor
In Ephesians 6:18, a scripture that is already in this blog,(this time you may reread the blog or reference it yourself), Paul speaks about praying by the power of the spirit. In Ephesians 3:16, "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith."

Belt of truth
Jesus calls Satan the father of lies. Compare Satans deceptions with the Word to expose his lies. The Word which is the truth, shines a light of integrity into us and holds together our spiritual defenses. In John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Beware, a word of warning!
In Romans chapter 16:17-20 states:I urge you, brothers to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Everyone has heard about your odedeince, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.
